1999 GMC yukon Sign In

hello to day i went to autozone and check my car. because i couldn't get the smog to pass
so they give me the receipt, my question is what do i have to fix? because i planing to keep the car. by the way i have 1999 GMC yukon.

You say you have a Yukon but the Receipt says Volkswagen on it. are you sure you have the right receipt.
If that's the correct receipt, then it likely has a bad Catalytic Converter

well im sure i have a yukon and that is the only receipt

they told me to fix catalytic converter defective
do you think, if i fix the catalytic converter defective gonna make me
pass the smog test ?


well i'm trying to say is what can i do to pass the smog test ?

Assuming they actually gave you the right receipt, a new converter is the only thing that is going to make you pass that test and even then you are going to have to drive it around a while after it's replaced to cycle all the monitors.

Have the trouble code(s) retrieved again and post them here. If it, indeed, has a bad converter, you need to find out what caused the converter to go bad or you'll end up damaging the new one.
