Here is my car info: 1999 Chevy Lumina, 3.8L V6, ~80,000 miles. I am having an issues with the passenger side break light. There is only one bulb that lights everything (blinker, brake, etc) and I have already tried replacing it. The brake light works fine until I use my right turn signal, once I do that and I hit the brake the light will shut off, when I release the brake and if I have the lights on it will come back on. If I use the right turn signal again, the brake light will work just like normal. It is almost as if every time I use my right turn signal it is turn off and then back on something that is controlling the right brake light. I hope it made sense how I explained it, but only the brake light is effected by this, nothing else.

You're going to have to do some testing at the socket while the turn signals and brake lights are on. You may have a bad socket or even a bad turn signal switch. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
