What would make the back of the car sound horrible when it goes over a bump. It is loud when it goes over a bump like a loud squeak or something.

Any number of bushings could be the cause, start with the rear shock absorber bushings, control arm bushings etc. Try having someone bounce the car while looking underneath it. If you can't replicate the noise and locate it's source, you will more than likely have to put it on a lift and have it diagnosed. Good luck, these can be a pita to find.
