How do I adjust the door of my '99 SIlverado? I am getting wind noise almost everytime I drive. It's worse when I am on the highways.

I own a 97 and it's very well cared for. I can only think of bad words for the damn doors on these things I need a lower hinge pin at 40K!!!! and can't do that myself holding the door without chipping it all up so went to a great auto body near me. Guess what? The hinge is welded to the body so an entire hinge if needed would be a much bigger deal - argggh! At the same time I noted how lousy the rubber was lined up for the wind and water to stay on the correct side. I've heard of a body shop just bending these things back into alignment but never witnessed that. if yours is in alignment you may have to replace the rubber weatherstripping to fix the noise. Good luck and if that's all that's wrong be happy. I still like my truck, T
