Hello I have a 1999 Toyota Corolla VE it has 170k miles it says 16 valve efi but doesn't say how many liters it is. It's a 4 cylinder I know that much ok so here is what I've been experiencing ive noticed in the last month I can start the car and the keys can be removed while started and running weird I don't know if that has to do with this issue I'm having so I go to start my car the other morning to go to work and it seems dead no lights no stereo nothing comes on so I take off the battery terminals to clean any corrosion was a little check to make sure both connections were tight and it started right up worked for a couple days maybe 5/10 starts and did the same thing again it's gotten to the point I have to remove both cables wait a few seconds maybe 30 and re hook up the battery terminals and it starts and is good for a day or 2 can someone please help me is it the brain or cpu of the car could that be I'm resetting it when I take off battery terminals and it doesn't have a aftermarket alarm I check that for a starter kill I know a little bit about this car has been good to me for over 10 years I've fixed a few things starter a year ago battery 6 months ago and tie rods 6 months ago so I'm not a novice when it comes to fixing it myself I'm new to this website and just looking for someone to maybe give me a tip to figure out what's wrong with it please reply with any questions sorry if I left anything out

You have a multimeter? See if there is excessive voltage drop between the battery post and cable ends while attempting to crank the engine when the problem is occurring. No power at anything doesn't sound like a computer issue. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
