1999 dodge ram 1500

Hi I am having a problem with my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 slt. I took the battery out of it-to replace it, and now when drive it and go to slow down it go's dead. it only happens when I slow down. Please help it is a 360 magnum motor w/auto trans 2x4

your trucks computer has the ability to learn your driving habits and slight variations in the various sensors , most have a plus or minus value. when you unhook your batt for more than a min or two , the computer loses this memory and must relearn it. give it a day of normal driving, 2 at most and things will return to normal.

If it doesn't come back on it's own, disconnect it again and start over and slowly idle it down and let it idle in drive for a few minutes before driving.
