Hi. Just bought this car a couple of days ago and am hoping the repairs won't break the bank! Windshield wipers work on both low and high, but no intermittent speeds work and the wipers won't shut off until you shut the car off. Any suggestions? Also, the buttons for the headlights and parking lights and lever for the interior lights aren't doing anything either. Called a dealer and he said the wipers were likely a circuit board for about $350 and a switch for the lights that costs about $205. I'd sure appreciate any other suggestions! Thanks a bunch.

Check the back of the wiper motor. If it has a cover held on by 3 screws (usually torx) this is the wiper delay module. This is easily replaced and it should be nowhere near $350. If push comes to shove you can get a remanufactured wiper motor with the module for about half that price.
