4WD, 2 door, auto trans. It feels like a misfire. More of a hesitiation or stumble on acceleration (lower RPMS) most of the time. No problem starting. Sometimes you can hear it happen at idle. Here's the weird part: This seems to happen once a year, I replace my cap/rotor, and it seems to go away most of the time. Not this year. Wires/plugs have 15K or so on them and the problem also started before their replacement. Cap, rotor, PCV new. Fuel filter and fuel pump getting replaced as I type this. Orig O2 sensors, orig cat. Fresh tank of Mobil 89 octane. Coil tests good, No pullable codes present except the fuel sender code (which will be new soon). 118K on the engine.. Any ideas? I'm really hoping the engine's just starved for fuel.

If you're planning on changing the pump assembly due to the sender problem....... Do that and see if it helps..........
