2000 Dodge Durango Coolant Question

A couple weeks ago my brother checked the fluids for me and he said my reserve tank for the coolant was empty. He put in coolant for me and I didn't think anything of it. Well last night a friend checked the coolant levels but once again the tank was empty. He said that maybe the radiator had been so low on fluid, that it sucked in all the coolant we had put in. To me that doesn't sound right but then again, I don't know anything about cars other than how to check the oil and put in gas. Is it possible that my friend is right? I have not seen any coolant on my driveway at all so I don't think it's leaking. I don't get paid until Thursday so I can't take it into a mechanic right away so any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated that will last me until then.

It's very likely that your friend is right. You need to have the cooling system pressure tested to find the leak. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
