I have a 2000 Ford Taurus with 109000 miles. It has the dual overhead cams with a coil on each plug. The car idels just a little rough and sends a #4 cylinder misfire to the computer. My mechanic has chnaged the fuel injector, computer and the wiring from the computer to the fuel injector with no luck. He has also swapped the coil on the cylinder with another coil but the misfire stayed in the #4 cylinder. He also tested the cylinder for compression and its fine. The car only misfires and runs rough when it is ideling. Any suggetions on where to go now? My mechanic has no more ideas.Unsure

Ok - let's get tough here. This could be a vacuum leak - probably at intake manifold or an exhaust valve spring that will handle a compression test but not with the engine running. You would all but have to take it out to inspect it, T
