Hey everyone! I just took my van into the shop and they replaced the Ignition Coil, Lead Coil wire, EGR Valve, and Instrument Cluster. When I drove it home everything was perfectly fine. When I just drove it home from work this morning it was going crazy... It seemed when I accelerated it would... lock the doors continuously, have trouble accelerating/jumpy and seemed like it might die, ding continuously (like the lights were on and car was off), the air bag light would come on, and the ABS light would come on. Please help! I wanted to get to the cities to spend New years eve with my gf, all the shops are closed today :( Thanks!

What is the charging system voltage at the battery terminals? Make sure the battery connections are clean and tight. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

By clean and tight that means you need to work the terminal out of the rubber end that surrounds it and get it shiny clean. It there is a lot of corrosion on the bolts get new ones. I think the Oreilly in your town is open today. I've been there on Sundays before. Get a tube of dielectric grease while you're there. Coat the connections real good with it, it prevents future corrosion.

I checked the connections to the battery and everything was fine, no corrosion and they are nice and tight, still doing the same thing.

This should be a side post battery so slide the rubber back off the cable end and wire brush the metal eye and the battery terminal. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
