I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7L V8 in need of a new ECM, but the part is discontinued. Has anyone had experience ordering ECMs online? What would you recommend?

How did you come to that conclusion? I don't order things on line - just me and know the whole world does. IDK if not available new and near you how about a used one? If there's a salvage yard that can say a vehicle that matches was running but scrapped for some other reason I think I'd try that. Near certain you'll need to have it programmed to your vehicle no matter what you find or where,
