2000 Peugeot 106 leaking water Sign In

Please can someone advise me? My peugot 106 XN Zest 2 is leaking water through the passenger backlight. My back seat is soaking and so is the carpet. I know this is a thick question- but how do i seal it? and do i do it from the inside or outside and what do i use??? I am a complete novice/amateur as i always had someone to do this sort of stuff but i have now got to learn to do it myself. Many thanks in advance. :)

I'm not familiar with this car and can't really picture what light it is that you are talking about but regardless....

The water has to be coming in from the outside. You need to find out where that source is. If this light is mounted on the outside of the car then there will be a seal for it. You would have to go to the dealer, get a new seal and replace it....

If the light is inside mounted then this is just where the water is coming into the car from and you need to find the outside source. I would pull the light assembly get a garden hose, have someone spray water on the car and see if I could see what area the water is coming from.....
