I have a 2.2l that started acting like the cruise was stuck. It happens only after car is up to temp. I disconnected the cruise and it still does it, it is an auto trans. It idles high and first started (stuck) around 45mph. At hwy speed ,65mph it (sticks about there). Once I get it slowed down it will stick about 45 again. It will accelerate but not decelerate.once back to hwy speed it setteles there. When first started it acts fine till warm.

The throttle body may be sticking. Clean it up real good with a toothbrush and some carb cleaner. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
