I've got a 2001 Jaguar XJR that I purchased with a salvage title approx 3 years ago. Have had little to no problems with the car but need to sell it now. Have had no interest from 2 ebay auctions and now autotrader. The car has 66000 miles on it and in great shape...I can only assume that I may be asking too much. What would you consider a fair asking price for this vehicle?

Have you checked the kelly blue book for a price?

Go here: http://www.kbb.com/ and select used cars on the right. This should help you get a fair market price for the car. It will also tell you trade in value.

Re: 2001 Jaguar - Price/Value Sign In

To add there is NADA.com and Edmunds.com for idea. Most people will deduduct for a a "salvage title"..... All of these are guessing and the value is always market and willing sellers and buyers. For a couple years now I've had better luck with side of the road and signs and info on a car and tell all to save the phone calls.

It helps if the car is clean and free of stickers and a glove box that has just what the car came with. The dealers all do this and it helps a lot. Good luck, T
