A friend tells me her 2001 2.0 Jetta is hard to start during wet weather. And once it is started it tends to stall, unless she
's moving. When she comes to a stop, it stalls again. I haven't had to do much work on cars in a long time. I thought she might have a distributor cap.
Of course those who know, know I was wrong. All the spark-plug wires go into some kind of solid state looking thing. She says she had the wires replaced
and the problem still occurs. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks, Butch

A good place to start would be to see if there are any trouble codes store to point you in the right direction... Is the check engine light on?

Thanks Sidom.
Her dad has an analyzer. It says cylinders are misfiring. A mechanic supposedly solved the issue before. Not quite. Still misfires in wet weather. Engine light does stay on. So where do we go from here..... Unsure
