My buddy just bought a 2001 chevy s10. The back drivers side wheel looked warped, after taking the wheel off and the drum we noticed that the part with the studs on it was warped. how do I replace this part? Also noticed that when the rear of the truck is jacked up, with car in park we were able to spin the rear wheels freely. Should we be able to do that. I do believe the truck is rear wheel drive. Thanks in advance for any help.

That means that the axle shaft is bent which means it was hit pretty hard. You probably need to have this inspected in a lot more detail to see what else may be bent. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
