2001 dodge intrepid bent rod

I have a 2001 dodge intrepid es.The timing belt broke.When we had it replaced the mechanic said there we 2 bent rods,one on each side.Now it runs on 4cyl instead of 6.How long will the car last like this

You sure the valves were not bent? Did they do any cylinder head work? Usually, when timing belts break it doesn't bend rods. If it does have bent rods, who knows how long it will run like that. I'm sure it really runs like crap and will eventually burn out and plug the catalysts if you haven't unplugged the injectors on those cylinders. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
