2002 Nissan Frontier assistance please

So i got a 2002 nissan frontier crew cab xe, Well anyway truck was running weak more noticible on hills for past month or month and a half (could be a different problem). So anyway truck made backfire type sound and died well. I have checked the fuses and also checked for spark which it has none. I have replaced the whole distributor correctly. So im still puzzled and any assistance would be great i am for surely going to buy a manual though.

Have you checked your timing belt? Take off the cap and see if the rotor turns when the engine is cranked
|
