My envoy is the SLE model 4 wheel drive. I recently started having problems with. When i take off the truck surges, (rpm's) go up and down. When i maintain a speed its fine unless i go up and incline it starts to surge again. I brought it to get a diagnostic on it and they told me to replace the accelerator pedal sensor. So i did that, cost me $90, and did not fix prob. I am getting to many opinions from people and dont kniw what it is. Could it be the tranny making it surge? Thx for your advice and help. Cant afford to keep bringng it in

If you have an Autozone or Advanced Auto in your area, they will read them for free. Just don't let them sell you any parts yet. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
