Ok so I have a manual 2003 Nissan Sentra 1.8l with about 102,000 miles and I was driving on the interstate a couple of days ago going around 65-70 mph and then all of the sudden it would just feel like I downshifted and when I pressed on the gas the car wouldn't accelerate because it just turned off. The "engine service soon" light came on (its still on) and the engine wouldn't start right away. I had to let it sit for a minute or two. This happened two more times on my way home on the interstate ONLY. It hasn't happened in town yet where my top speed only gets to about 40-45 mph. I had a neighbor look at it and he said it could possibly be my serpentine belt, but he is not a car expert himself either. I tried looking it up and found that it could possibly be my fuel pump too, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance.

With "Service soon" light on there's a code waiting to be read that should lead the way to what's wrong. Get a code reading first and go from there, T
