2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara misfire problem Sign In

I have a 2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara, 6 cylinder, runs fine for a few days and then stalls out and dies, after sitting for a day or so it runs fine again, have replaced egr valve, fuel pump, fuel pump relay, and engine computer, did compression test on all cylinders, spark plugs have individual coils, vehicle throws P0300 code, any help would be appreciated

What the mileage?

Are there any other codes besides the P0300? P0300 is a multiple misfire code. When it is running, does it misfire? If so, which cylinders are missing?

What were the numbers from the compression test?

When it doesn't want to start what is missing? See this:

Mileage is 149000, no other codes, engine runs fine, idles about 8000, while driving engine surges then when you step on the gas it doesn't want to go, CEL starts blinking, eventually engine dies and will not restart, sometimes has a fuel smell

What is missing when it doesn't want to start? Fuel pressure, injector pulse, and/or spark?

It's an intermittent problem, once the vehicle sets for a while it starts and runs fine, I will have to wait until it stalls out again to check what is missing
