2003 Taurus eating gas!

I took my car in for an oil change, but had also noticed it was using a lot more gas than usual. The mechanic said that the air intake bellow had a hole in it, so it was replaced. This didn't help, so took it back. They replaced the barometer sensor. It was reading 2000 feet above sea level, though we are only 300 feet above sea level. This hasn't helped either. The only other thing he said was that the O2 sensors were functioning slow, so that will be the next thing to replace. The check engine light has never come on with any of this. Should I take it to the dealer for better diagnostics or what? Thanks!

Everything they have said makes complete sense.
