My car quit on me. I thought it was starter because it won't try to turn over. I changed starter and still the same problem. I can jump start my car and it will be fine. Can you help.me diagnose the problem

So it start when jumped and when run a while then what? The same - no cranking at all or just slightly trying. Are any lights on and do they change or go out while trying to crank it? I/we need more to go on for this than just what you said for the moment seems a low or dead battery was the problem NOT a starter if it takes a jump. How long that last is the charging system doesn't mean just toss in you might think alternator repairs are much better done targeting the real problem not just tossing parts already seem you are out a starter motor for no reason??
