2004
Chevy
Monte Carlo
3.8L
100,000

All 4 of my brake pads and rotors were changed last year, but lately I have noticed that when I have to apply the brakes quickly the pedal wont go down. If I gradually brake like normal they work fine, but slamming on the brakes doesn't seem to work..What are the possible causes of this and how would I check them out?

Possible fluid leak or bad master cylinder.

Get a set of plugs that will fit the master cyl ports .Maybe NAPA or a brake shop , I made my own. Install in place of lines and see if pedal holds.
