Hi, I own 2004 Hyundai tiburon, 2.7L with 80000 miles on it. I have been having trouble with my drivers side window switch, i could not get either he drivers side or the passengers side door window of work. I bought a new switch and am no able to get the passengers side window to operate but the drivers side window remains stuck. I can hear a click when I use the switch and intermittently am able to get the window to work. I am thiinking it is not the regulator and I am contemplating working on the wiring to see if anything there is amiss. Any ideas on what to try next?

The circuit has to be diagnosed properly, not just throw parts at it. Your next step is to remove the door panel and see if the motor is receiving power and ground. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

I have the door panel off right now what would be the best way to check if the regulator is getting power?

With a test light that read either power or ground. You need both.

So I took the test light and plugged it into the power supply to the motor with no success was wondering if I plugged the wires into the wrong spot

It's apparent that you have no electrical experience whatsoever so it's about time to give it to a repair shop.

Well that was helpful.... I have never received formal training or even informal training in car repair and diagnosis, but I am trying to learn and that is the entire reason for me joining this forum and Posting, I appreciate your previous comments and will test the motor to see if it is being powered.
