I have a 2005 dodge neon. I am experiencing a grinding noise when i turn my car to the left. i was wondering if anyone had any advice on what it might be. If you know what it might be contact me at steven_bryn@yahoo.com. Thanks, Steven

That description is consistent with a wheel bearing gone bad if when driving along and left is louder than right or vs verse with bearings. The other likely noise is CV joint. Usually those will crackle at start off with wheel turned as in acceleration while turning and could be worse or the same in either direction if that. Neither heal and should be diagnosed as to which one and replaced. Oddly, sometimes if a bearing the noise can be from the opposite side that you think. At early stages it can be tricky to know which one without them off in your hands, T
