His complaint is that the steering seems hard to return after going around a corner and he has to correct his steering constantly while driving straight.It has rack and pinion so a frozen stabalizer is out of the question. After a road test ,I suspect a frozen steering shaft u-joint ? It feels loose...tight...loose...tight...loose tight when turning the wheel.A visual of the two lower u-joints shows lots of rust! Any Ford guys out there see this as a common ford truck problem ? Also the truck sits for sometimes weeks .
