Should look like that with a pulley bolted on over for the belt. Belt may or may not come completey off w/o jockeying around motor mount - dunno. Apprears to be a common water pump job. Don't have exact diagrams for this, just remove what's in the way of fasteners, clean gasket surfaces extra carefully with alloys as they can be damaged and the hardest of this will be having the tools to access the bolts and nuts to get at it.

Basics - drain cooling system and take the stuff out of the way to get this off and replaced. May help to get to some items thru wheel well,

If you need help cjanging the water pump on the v6 3.8 liter I can help. The pump has 8 bolts and the power steering unit has 2 bolts that will need to be removed. It took me about 3 hours to do once I figured it out. email me at (removed personal info) for more information. Thanks!
