2006 Grand Prix Front End Popping Sign In

I have a popping on the drivers side front end of my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix that has 62000 miles on it. I am trying to get to the bottom of this problem as I have taken it to two places already and they cant pinpoint what it is yet. This popping occurs whenever I start to take off from a complete stop, when applying the brakes to slow down and also when I'm just driving down the road and I happen to hit a dip in the road. I'm not sure if this could be my struts or strut mounts or possibly even my ball joint. Here is a link to a video that I attempted to take while driving in my car. It was windy out when I took this video, and I'm sorry if the quality isn't the greatest. I would really appreciate your thoughts and or suggestions!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJonYegdGBw

I agree with you , the video is usless . BUT , at least you made an effort . If it only made popping sound in turns i would say CV joints . But you are getting sound in straight driving .I would suspect the upper bearing plate on strut(s) ,coil spring binding. Next would be a loose motor/trans mount. Try pinpointing the sound by spraying some lube at suspect areas.wd 40 with a straw works. listen for a change in the sound .This would get you in the right area. Also check all CV boots for tears.

could possibly be the lower controll arm bushings. have seen a lot of the vertical bushing go bad.

We are guessing without being there and checking ourselves. I'm with R-T that upper bushing plate is more likely at 62K than control arm bushings but anything is possible,
