I need to lift the front of my 2011 Dodge Nitro. I'll have to put jack stands under the factory pinch weld lift points and I'm looking for a central cross member so I can lift the whole front end at once, but I don't know if either of the cross members I can see would be appropriate. Point "A" looks like an actual piece of heavy frame. Point "B" is further back and looks like a solid piece of metal. Do either of these locations look strong enough for a floor jack to lift the front of the car? Other views - 2011 Dodge Nitro SXT SUV 4D (3.7L V6 SMPI) Odometer: 102,000 miles

Those cross supports are reinforcements only and not strong enough to support the whole front half of the car. You have to jack and support each side individually. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
