It comes and goes sometimes more than other times but its usually there more with a full tank of gas. May just be coincidence. I read somewhere that it may be the fuel Vapor Canister. Does that sound possible? We have no way to diagnose a sound that you aren't even describing. I can tell you one thing. Its a very strange sound. Like the foot base drum on a drum set.
