I have a 84 Ford Mustang V6 with 35,000 miles on it. For some reason the fuel pumps wont get any power to them. There are two fuel pumps in it. One under the frame and one in the gas tank. I have hooked both fuel pumps to the battary directly and they both worked. Then my friend got under the car and put his hand on the fuel pump under the frame while i turned the key and also turned it over. He said they wernt making a buzzing sound and they should. So i checked the shut off switch in the trunk and made sure it was pushed in and then we tried it again, Still nothing!! So then i checked the fuses and i couldnt find a fuse for the fuel pumps. I did find the relay under the drivers seat and i replaced it. We tried it again and still nothing!!!! I dont know what the problem is. Is it a ground wire or something? and if it is where is the ground wire located? Please help me!!!!!!!

Here is a wiring diagram. See where you lose current. We can not put the test equitment on it, so you need to do the work. Hope this helps you.

Ok. Now i put a test light on the relay. and the yellow wire will light it up. The pink and black wire wont do any thing. and when i put the test light on the other two wires it makes a buzzing sound coming from somewhere behind the passengers side dash. I dont know what that buzzing sound is. At first i thought it was the computer but its not.
