87 nissan timing Sign In

I was given an 87 nissan maxima with 3.0 engine (doesnt run). The original owner was convinced someone put something in the gas tank. I removed the back seat and changed the fuel pump and drained out all of the fuel. I also changed fuel filter and put some injector cleaner in it. I was able to get the car to run only if i kept it reved up and then it would stall. Today I tweaked the alternator a bit and was able to get it to idle. The car has 115k on it and I am assuming it has the original timing belt. could someone please send me a diagram of how to properly replace the timing belt. Also, is there other things i should replace while i have it apart and what is the process of setting the timing properly after i replace the belt or chain. Thank You Very Much

Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the water pump, idlers & tensioner. Inspect the cam & crank seals, any doubt and this would be the time to change those as well...

These are the timing the marks. The R cam marks are the same as the Left. Most replacement belts will have white lines to help make sure the marks are lined up....

Thanks for the diagram and the advice. Is there any torque settings on any of the bolts that I should know about before I go tightening things back down? I think I will at least change the water pump and tensioner.
