Ok gang, got a real stumper here! I have a 91 chevy Lumina 3.1 V6. It starts and runs, but after a few minutes it dies. It will start right back up again and go, but we cant trust it. It has had a new crank sensor, new coil pac and icm, It is throwing no codes. It has 151000K miles. It had a new idle air control at 129000, a full tuneup, new map sensor, new injectors at 121000. it has had a recent fuel filter, and also when it was acting up, (when the problems first started, it would run rough before it died), we tested the fuel pressure at the rail and had 40 -41 lbs. engine analyzer shows nothing. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Mike.

The only way that you are going to find this problem is that you have to first determine which function is dropping out in the split second before the engine dies, whether it be spark, fuel pressure or injector pulse. One or more of those is dropping out and causing the stall. That's what you have to determine and that won'e be real easy. You have to be monitoring these things at the moment it dies.

I got a feeling your going to need to take it to a repair shop that has a technician with a DSO lab scope. The DSO is great at finding glitches as long as they are checking the right circuits.
