I have a 93 Mustang LX and my passenger side window is stuck down. When I returned from the desert, I was surprised to see that my speakers were stolen and the punks pushed the passenger side window down. (It was about 3 inches down when I left.) I checked, and it's not electrical, but the motor. I'm trying to go home and see my parents, but I don't want to drive 800 miles up north with a window down. Is there a release or something that I can do, to put the window up, until I get home and can fix it? I don't have the manual for it.

If it was forced down who knows what damage has been done. All I can suggest is to remove the door panel and do what you have to, to get the window up. Even if it means undoing the mechanism and duct taping the window closed until you get home???? Dan. Canadian "EH"

The track isn't warped, which is good. I just didn't want to pull everything off and not be able to get it up. I think, duct tape might actually be the answer. Actually, I work on Aircraft, and I have safety wire, that should be better, not only cleaner. Thanks for just getting my mind going, I think I might be able to rig something up.

It’s a real kick in the ass when people can’t leave Sh!t alone; hope things work out. Have a safe trip home. Dan. Canadian "EH"

Man that stinks!! It's tricky enough with routine repairs. Like Dan said - have a safe trip home and just use tape or a stick of wood or whatever you can dream up to hold the window up for now. There probably is unseen damage. Good luck, T

Just got finished getting it up. It took some copper wire, and a little bit of safety wire. I couldn't get it all the way up, but the little crack at the top is a lot better then getting snowed on. I'm leaving in the morning. Thanks for the help!
