1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera (3.3L V6). 160K miles. Having issues with the driver side window - will go down but not back up. Planning on replacing the motors there, but also was driving down the highway one day when the window "tipped" - must have come out of its track or something. Top left corner tips up and entire right side of window tips down, making window lean. Has not caused any problems with the motor, but it rattles around when driving. Only way to get it to sit straight is to keep it up all the time, but my AC doesn't work so that's not really an option right now. Started taking the door apart this morning but can't see anything without cutting through the actual metal. Any help appreciated.

NO, do not cut through any metal. All repairs are done through existing holes. It may not be comfortable but that's the only option. Find out why the window is not staying in the channel first. That could be the whole problem. Some use a plastic clip that holds the window inside the channel that may be broken. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
