94 Buick car alarm

I have a 94 Buick Park Avenue with a alarm that is malfunctioning. I had to pull the horn wires off this morning as the alarm went off and I couldn't shut it off. I tried pulling the bus fuses under the hood to reset it as I've done before but no luck. The car starts and runs but the interior lights flash on and off when the keys in or running. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to disable the system permanently or bypass it completely. Any help would be appreciated. I think the module is behind the glove box, grey with one single wire, is that correct?

That sounds like an aftermarket security system that has a problem. You would have to remove the system and reconnect the circuits that it interrupted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

No, Passkey doesn't blow the horn or flash the lights.

Well, this is the system the car came with from the factory and it's in the owners manual. I looked in my Haynes book and surprise it doesn't mention anything about the system. Talked to GM and they said it could run up to $1,000 to repair, yikes.. If you know anybody who has worked on a Park Avenue disabling the system let me know..

You car has more than PassKey on it. Passkey will not do that. You have to have VTD in addition to Passkey. There is no way to bypass it that i am aware of.
