95 Astro power steering leak

95 Astro power steering leak Sign In

95 Astro AWD, 4.3. Power steering runs through the brake master cylinder area.

The power steering cooling tube (long tube that runs in a loop on the bottom front of the van) has a slow drip at the front of the van, near one of the rubber to metal joints. I found one end of the tube, the other end I can't even find let alone reach it.

I was wondering if the cooling tube is a high pressure line or not. If it is not a high pressure line, then I'd much prefer to just cut out the bad section and splice in a good one.

Yes the cooler is on the return side of the system; so it is low pressure.
