96-Ford Taurus - water pump terminology

Howdy, thanks for the gander,
My question is more of a terminology issue than a troubleshooting one. I've removed an old, leaky water pump from my car, and I need a new one. In trying to remove the alan key bolts that hold the two halves of the pump housing together, they were coroded and broke off inside. So, in addition to the new 'water pump' I'm going to buy (which, from any auto store, includes the pulley side of the housing, pulley and gasket), I also need to replace the OTHER side of the pump housing; the side that mounts to the engine block. What is this side called? I've confused everyone I ask about this, and for some reason nobody seems to know where I might get one of these, other than calling Ford and having them get me a new ($$$$$$$$$) one. Looking at parts sites and calling around, I cant seem to describe the part the right way in order to determine if folks have the part, so I'm spinning my wheels here.
I'd just like to know what the accepted terminology for this part is. I've used 'pump backing' and 'mounted housing' but people still seem to scratch their heads.

Are you sure a new pump doesn't already come with that? It's likely called a water pump housing

Everything I've seen for sale in stores or online called 'water pump' comes with only the pully side of the housing, with the pulley and the gasket included, but not the other side that all of that mounts to, and which mounts the whole unit to the engine block.

Have you had any luck finding this piece. Today I find myself in the same situation. Even after putting pb blaster on the bolts, 2 broke.

Dealer has the pump assembly. Comes with pump and the water pump housing. Around $140. After market doesn't sell the housing.
Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Howdy,
I ended up taking the water pump to my mechanic and paying him $10 to get the bolts out. He ended up breaking a few of his tools (!!) but got them out, and I was able to attach a new pulley side and it's working great!
One of my bolts was broken down inside, and he was still able to get it out...so there is hope!
