Can anyone explain to me how you get to the spark plugs on the back side of a 96 Ciera wagon? Some people say you have to roll the engine some dont. If you have to roll the engine where do i need to disconnect it and how do I roll it without damaging the lines?

Thanks

If you have the V6, you tilt the engine after getting the top strut out of the way with a special tool which may be rentable. DO THIS IN NEUTRAL! Block wheels or parking brake ok. Good luck, These are a pest,

Thanks for teh quick response. For teh top strut do i remove it or just disconnect one side? Also for the tool you mentioned do you know what it is called? and also where do you place it on the engine to rock it? Thanks for the tip on neutral the people i talked to failed to mention that.

Here’s the tool that Tom was talking about. After you remove the torque strut you install the tool in the strut-mounting bracket.
I got mine from a company called Thexton part #419
