96 s10 blazer knocking motor

I have a 96 s10 blazer with a strange knock coming from the motor. Can't really tell where it's coming from.I checked cam,lifters,pushrods,rockers and replaced timing chain.motor has 30k good oil presure,doesn't run hot and a perfect idle.Came home from work was fine next day knock.'I'm going nuts'.Please help!

Why do you think the timing chain was bad at that low mileage? Is this a sludged engine. If this is a real just poke around town vehicle carbon build up can't make noise. That's fairly rare but so is 30k on a 12 year old engine,
