I have a 97 Ford Explorer that just started to over heat. It looks like it is leaking at the rear of the engine on the passengers side. It looks like it is coming from a narrow hose connected to a small cylinder. Any ideas what this is called?

Doesn't really matter what it's called for now. If it's a coolant carrying hose and leaking it needs to be replaced. If it is a moulded hose the description of where it is, coming from and going to should be enough to get a replacement, T
