How can you check the door unlock relay when the power door lock is stuck in the locked position on the driver side and the door can not be opened?

Is this the driver's door? I though those would (some Fords) would open if locked from inside handle - not sure for Explorer but some actuators can freeze and don't allow manual lock or unlock till at least removed which is a pill of course as you need to get the door panel off - not easy with door shut! If only one door it probably isn't a relay. If determined to fix this yourself it may pay to get a body shop to open the door with the least possible damage to get at the thing, T
