about 195k miles

I took my car to a Mineke because it was over heating. I changed my thermostat because i didnt notice water going through my radiator. Took it to auto zone and they ran a check and i got the error codes:
P0302 Cylinder 2 misfire
P0300 Random misfire
P0301 Cylinder 1 misfire
P0117 Sensor 1 circut low voltage
The people at mineke told me my Radiator fan assembly 1 fan died. they got me an amazing deal of 250 but i was just wondering if i should try and change out the Fuse or find a lose connection. Or just go ahead and pay that? it includes part labor and Flushing my radiator.

250 for parts and labor is not a bad price for that, in my opinion. Fans are pretty easy to test, just unplug the fan and run jumpers to ground and power to the fan, most likely the shop did this as it only takes a minute or two to test. If it spins without noise or any effort you have a fuse or wiring issue but my guess is that the fan is bad. Have you tried to spin it by hand, car turned off and cool of course? how does it compare to the other fan. It sounds like you would be looking at about 1.5 hours in labor and the rest in parts, really not bad and you don't have to do it. Be aware they will charge you some additional fees for disposal of the coolant.

Yeah the price dropped from 520-420. after i got there they said they found a Used part and dropped it down to 250. Tomorrow i am going to pick it up and just bring it home and check that out. thanks for the tip on how to test my fan. and i was looking at how to replace it and i think with the tools i can go ahead and attempt to repair it myself.
