99 voltswagon beetle Sign In

I have a 99 voltswagon beetle 2.0 L 73k miles. transmittion was slipping. I removed battery and air filter housing trying to get to the fill plug on the trany. added lucas additive. and put it back together. now it idles to low and will not properly accelerate. codes 102 and 1043. r/r maf but still having same issues. engine idled and accelerated fine before i removed parts. any advise

Look for hoses from the snorkel off or leaking.
