Alignment and fishtailing Sign In

We have a 1999 Chevy Lumina. I put it on jacks the other day to seal a gas tank leak. Finally got that problem fixed, but when I put it down, we went to drive home and the alignment was off. Then as we kept driving whenever we would make a right turn we get a slight squeal. And about 5 minutes later, we noticed that when you hit a pothole or any bump in the road, the back end wants to fishtail. This is all new to me and weird so if anyone can please help. Thank you.

What part did you jack it up on in the rear or front if you jacked it there too.

I jacked it up in front of the rear tires on a part of the frame

Sounds like you bent or broke something in the process. It needs to go up on a lift and inspected.
