Battery issue? Sign In

I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla that has trouble starting when idle for an extended period of time....I usually have to turn the key in the ignition extra hard, and then, boom it starts (and , then, as I'm driving, it will run just fine)). But when I have the car off for just a few minutes, it doesn't do this...I'm thinking it's the battery

Then why don't you have it tested?

Seems a bit new for a battery but anything is possible. That doesn't' add up with the key being hard to turn. Unless you had it left turned hard for some reason? Leave a steering wheel straight ahead as much as possible. Isn't this still under warranty?

If you drive a new car under warranty why would you bother anyone but a dealership when you have issues with it?
