Brake Fluid Question

I have just replaced one of my rear brake calipers on my '93 VW Golf CL. Before I started on the second wheel I seen in the repair book that the Golf uses DOT4 brake fluid and I used DOT3 fluid (used on my Corolla) to top up and bleed my system after the one caliper replacement.
How worried should I be about this? The repair book states if a wrong fluid is used one needs to bleed the whole system with the correct fluid and replace all the seals. Does this DOT 3/4 mix up warrant such a big move? Thanks

Arggh!!
DOT 3 is a standard for its hydroscopic nature and boiling point. I can't look or find right now what DOT 4 means other than I think it's about the same but a higher boiling point. Check the label. Brake fluid MUST be rubber friendly and that's the most important right now.
I would get it all out and won't venture a suggestion about replacing all rubber parts, T
