Hi all, I have a 1986 ford e-150 thats giving me problems and im not sure what to do...Its a 302 fuel injection. I had issues with brakes and power the brakes were always losing the power and the van will run high then low almost stalling at times, brakes squishy and brake light would come on, also noticing the tranny has issues shifting. Im not sure if its all related or not, seems to me maybe a vacumn issue but im not sure. Any Ideas anything special that may affect all those problems? Thanks for any advice.

As a test - plug off vacuum booster at booster and again at engine manifold to see if either can isolate the problem and engine smooths out. Seems like a vacuum leak anywhere in the vacuum power brake booster system. Don't drive it plugged as brake force is dangerously disabled, T
